The ORWRP is part of The Ohio State University’s School of Environment and Natural Resources. The School of Environment and Natural Resources is a distinct, interdisciplinary academic unit housed within the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES), one of the fifteen colleges within Ohio State.
The School of Environment and Natural Resources is dedicated to the use and management of natural resources in an environmentally compatible, economically efficient, and socially responsible manner. The School’s faculty are experts in a variety of fields including, but not limited to, forestry, wildlife ecology, environmental social sciences, and rural sociology.
The School promotes learning and fosters sustainability through teaching, outreach, and research. There are currently five undergraduate degree programs within the School:
Environment, Economy, Development, and Sustainability
Environmental Science
Environmental Policy and Decision Making
Forestry, Fisheries, and Wildlife
Natural Resource Management
There is also an Environment and Natural Resources, Undecided program for students who are unsure what program is best for them.
Students who have been admitted to the Ohio State University and declared one of the above majors are directly admitted to the School of Environment and Natural Resources.
