4-H Committee Meeting – October 7

The 4-H Committee will meet in the Extension Office Meeting Room from 6-7:30 p.m.

Extension Advisory Committee Meeting – October 14

The Extension Advisory Committee will meet in the Extension Office from 6-7:30 p.m.

Junior Fair Liaison Committee – October 15

The Junior Fair Liaison Committee will meet at the Junior Fair Office from 6-7:30 p.m.

Small Animal Sale Committee – October 15

The Small Animal Sale Committee will meet at the Junior Fair Office at 7:30 p.m.

4-H CARTEENS – October 17

4-H CARTEENS takes place at the Muskingum County Juvenile Court. Youth interested in becoming 4-H CARTEENS volunteer presenters should contact the Extension Office for details.

4-H Teen Rally – October 26

Junior Leaders will be hosting the first 4-H Teen Rally at 6 p.m. All 4-H teens who will be 14 years old as of January 1, 2020 are invited to attend! Stay tuned for details!

WHAT:

23rd Annual SOUPer Bowl Benefit Luncheon

“A Simple Meal to Meet Basic Needs”

 

A soup and sandwich luncheon (Simple Meal) prepared and served by volunteers from local churches and businesses/organizations/schools that raises funds to help feed the hungry in our community (Basic Needs).

 

Proceeds benefit:

Christ’s Table

Eastside Community Ministry

Fellowship of Christ’s Community

Muskingum County Center for Seniors

Salvation Army

 

HOW YOU CAN HELP!

Assist with set up on Saturday, October 19, 8:30am – Noon

And/or

Serve soup, sandwiches, drinks, and cookies to our guests, bus tables,

seat and serve guests that need assistance,

on Sunday, October 20 from 9:30am – 3:30pm

Accepting Applications for New CARTEENS Volunteers

We are currently accepting applications for new CARTEENS volunteers.

4-H CARTEENS Volunteers must:
• be at least 15 years of age and have an Ohio learner’s permit or driver’s license;
• have no more than one minor traffic violation upon starting as a volunteer;
• not receive any traffic violations while serving as a volunteer; and
• commit to attending at least 5 of 11 monthly sessions each year.

4-H CARTEENS New Volunteer Application

Reverse Raffle Silent Auction – Invitation for Clubs to Participate

The Muskingum County Reverse Raffle Committee would like to invite any interested 4-H club to enter a theme basket of at least $50 in value to the silent auction at the 6th Annual Muskingum County Reverse Raffle on November 6. This annual event raises money to benefit the Muskingum County 4-H program. Proceeds from the silent auction will be divided equally among the clubs who participate.
