Don’t bring a thing but your appetite for great beef, and a chair to sit in!
The Fairfield County Cattlemen’s Association is hosting a cook-out and you’re invited! Mark August 19th on your calendar for an evening of great beef, fellowship, and relaxation after enjoying a challenging summer dodging the weather and all that Mother Nature has challenged us with. The best part is, the only thing you need to bring is your family and a lawn chair . . . ALL the food will be provided!
All Fairfield County Cattlemen’s members and their families are invited. Plus, an invitation is extended to all of last year’s Fairfield County beef cattle exhibitors. At the same time we hope that those exhibitors will also invite their buyers and others who have supported their effort in completing their beef cattle projects.
The cook-out will be hosted in the shop at the farm of Ryan and Natalie Smith, 12488 Winchester Road. They are located about a mile southwest of Slate Run Metro Park at the intersection of Winchester and St. Paul Roads.
The grills will be started at 6 p.m. with plans to start eating about 6:30. There’s no such thing as being late . . . come when you get the feeding done. There will be lots of beef and all the trimmings that go with it.
This gathering is being sponsored the Fairfield County Cattlemen’s Association. . . just come and enjoy and bring your own lawn chair. All that is asked is that you let us know you are coming, and how many folks will be coming with you.
