Team E’s AEV proposal offers a product that highlights four key strengths:
1. Stability
The AEV experiences little to no shaking or tension while operating on the track. The propellers stayed firmly attached, the brake was strong and durable, and the main body was stable and shock-absorbent.
2. Accessibility
There is easy access to the power sources such as the Arduino and battery. This allows for easy maintenance by our head engineers and for easy repairs if necessary.
3. Safety
No safety violations or fines were assessed during the design stage. Furthermore, no harm was brought to the employees during design or to the public when operating performance tests.
4. Energy Efficiency
Team E prides itself on minimizing energy usage as Columbus attempts to rebrand itself as a ‘smart city.’ The vehicle outputs low Joule usage, falling within the 60th percentile compared to other AEV designs being tested.
