Successful Production of Microgreens

Join us to learn to grow microgreens!

Microgreens are growing in popularity and are a great way for produce farmers to produce a marketable crop during the winter months. Growing microgreens is similar to growing lettuce and other crops for use as edible greens.  Microgreens are a crop grown indoors to the first true leaf stage, then sold to a direct market for culinary use in everything from salads to sandwiches.

This FREE program will be on Monday, December 15 from 6-8pm at the Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation’s Kitchen in Youngstown, OH.
