Beebe presented with University’s staff award

Tina Beebe, administrative office manager for the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership, was presented with the prestigious Distinguished Staff Award.

The Distinguished Staff Award annually honors staff members for their outstanding achievements, service, leadership and dedication to The Ohio State University. The Distinguished Staff Award is the highest honor bestowed upon staff at the university since its inception in 1984.

Throughout her 16 year career at Ohio State, Beebe has been an integral member of the college and has made a difference for many students, faculty and staff. She is an active and engaged staff member, often volunteering, serving on many committees and supporting diverse projects within the college and university-wide. Beebe’s hard-working and compassionate nature have earned her recognition from several industry association and student society awards.

Congratulations Trina! We are so thankful to have you as a part of our department.

Education Abroad

The CFAES Center for Education Abroad Team would like to wish safe travels to the 120 CFAES students traveling this summer to six different continents! This stellar group of students was awarded of $54,000 in CFAES Education Abroad Scholarship funds, a new record for one term.

If you are traveling abroad this summer and will be earning credit or meeting a graduation requirement as a result of your travel, please e-mail Kelly Newlon at Newlon.7@osu.edu to learn about the University required supplemental insurance for your time abroad.
