Welcome Back Ice Cream Social

On Friday, August 29 our Department will be hosting an ice cream social to welcome back our returning students and welcome our new students!

This will be the third year for our official department wide event. In 2012 we had homemade ice cream, in 2013 we had root beer floats and this year we will be having ice cream sundaes with a variety of toppings – like the popular frozen yogurt bars that are in almost every town!

Students will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with each other and faculty and staff members from the department and CFAES offices.

If you’re not in a class on Friday afternoon, you should make your way to the Chadwick Arboretum (under the pergola) for a sweet treat. The event will be held from 2-4pm. If it rains, the party will be moved to Room 205 in Agricultural Administration.

Our New Blog

Welcome to the new blog for the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership at The Ohio State University!

The goal of this blog is to share stories from our students (both undergraduate and graduate), staff, faculty and alumni. Each week we’ll be adding posts about internship experiences, course projects, alumni and faculty profiles, just to name a few!
