Pulley defends dissertation

Congratulations to Justin Pulley on the successful defense of his dissertation, ” ‘Is that an Oculus?’ An Investigation of Ohio Agricultural Education Teachers and Students User Experience in a Virtual Reality Tractor Safety Experience.”
Pulley was co-advised by Dr. Dee Jepsen, professor and leader of the Ohio agricultural safety and health program, and Dr. Tracy Kitchel, professor of agriscience education and senior associate dean for the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. His committee members include Dr. Amanda Bowling, assistant professor of agriscience education, and Dr. Thomas Cherpes, graduate faculty representative.
Pulley will graduate in August with his doctorate. He holds a bachelor’s degree in applied science and a master’s degree in agriculture from Sam Houston State University.

Masambuka defends disseration

Congratulations to Dr. Fallys Masambuka, an agricultural and extension education doctoral student, on the successful defense of her dissertation “Agricultural communication: Whose voices, for who and for what? A case study of Malawian Agricultural communication programs.”

Masambuka completed her dissertation under the advisement of Dr. Mary Rodriguez and Dr. Emily Buck. Dr. Jera Niewoehner-Green and graduate faculty representative Dr. Rebecca Garabed served on her committee.
