Use “My 4-H Career Record Book” to Track Your 4-H Activities

As we gear up for another year , I want to share a great resource that is available to our families to help you track a member’s involvement in 4-H. My 4-H Career Record Book, which is available on our website under 4-H Youth Development>Member Resources, is designed to help members track all of the activities they participate in on an annual basis – including project work, club offices, teen leadership opportunities, community service projects, awards and much more!

It’s never too early to begin planning for life after high school and life after being a 4-H member! Keeping track of your 4-H activities and achievements can help you be better prepared for job, college and scholarship applications. It’s much easier to keep track as things happen than to try and remember everything you’ve done as a senior in high school.

If you are in high school, be sure to check out other local resources available to you – including Scholarship Central at the Muskingum County Community Foundation. They have a wonderful database of local scholarship opportunities. Contact Scholarship Central at 740-454-0144, check out How to Pay for College or visit their office at 534 Putnam Avenue, Zanesville.
