Ohio 4-H Foundation Celebration of Youth

As a member of the Ohio 4-H Foundation Board, I wanted to extend and invitation to our 4-H families and supporters to attend the Ohio 4-H Celebration of Youth event which will be held Saturday, October 2nd, 6:30pm at Leeds Farm, 8738 Marysville Rd, Ostrander, OH (Delaware Co.).

This year’s event is an adult only, casual, fun evening on the farm featuring hayrides, zip lines, pumpkin jump, pedal carts, mountain slides, pig races, live music and more! There will be plenty of food, Ohio beer & wine and donuts for everyone.

The 4-H Foundation Board has worked hard to secure some great silent & live auction items!

This is the largest fundraising event for the Ohio 4-H Program and it would be great to have you join us!

Tickets are $100 per adult (21 & older only), with a BOGO special offer to those ages 21-30.

For more details, purchase tickets or become an event sponsor, please visit:

https://ohio4h.org/foundation/foundation-events/celebration-youth

If this year’s Celebration of Youth in-person event would need to be canceled due to inclement weather or COVID mandates, all sponsorships and ticket prices paid would become 100% tax deductible donations to the Ohio 4-H program. The auctions will continue in their virtual format. Thank you.

Gather Canned Food & Donate During the Fair!

In 2021, the Muskingum County Junior Fair is participating in Farm Credit/Rural 1st’s “Fight the Hunger, Stock the Trailer” Challenge to help feed those in our local community while also competing against other fairs for cash prizes to support Junior Fair activities! Donations will benefit Christ’s Table.

In an effort to gather more donations, Junior Fair Board is hosting the Muskingum County Junior Fair Mullet Contest! Five finalists will be selected and announced during the Junior Fair Parade on Sunday.

  • Junior Fair organizations, community members…ANYONE – can vote for their favorite mullet by dropping canned food off in the “Fight the Hunger, Stock the Trailer” collection trailers (one near the Horse Barns, one near the Junior Fair Office) during the fair. Photos of each contestant will be posted inside the trailer and voters can leave their canned food items below the appropriate picture to have their vote counted.
