4-H CARTEENS Program – March 12
4-H CARTEENS takes place at the Muskingum County Juvenile Court. Youth interested in becoming 4-H CARTEENS volunteer presenters should contact the Extension Office for details.
Ohio 4-H Conference – March 14
Registered participants will attend this statewide educational opportunity for teens and volunteers.
Junior Leaders @ Plowboy Prom – March 14
Junior Leaders will attend the Plowboy Prom, hosted by Ohio State’s Collegiate 4-H Chapter, at the Ohio 4-H Center. Details will be shared with members via e-mail and Facebook.
4-H Enrollment Deadline – March 15
All enrollments must be submitted and approved by the club data manager by 11:59 p.m. on March 15. Because March 15 is a Sunday, enrollments will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on March 16 in 2020. Camp Team Meeting #3 – March 19 – Campbassadors, 5:15 p.m., Everyone 6-8 p.m.

Livestock Committees – March 26
Livestock Committees will meet at designated times at the Veteran’s Building at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds.
Livestock Quality Assurance Program – March 28, 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
Livestock Quality Assurance (LQA) Certification is required for all youth exhibiting a market animal, dairy cow or dairy goat project at the Muskingum County Fair. Sessions will take place at the Veteran’s Building at the Fairgrounds. See page 21 of the 2020 Muskingum County 4-H Owner’s Manual for details.
Small Animal Fun Day – March 28, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Youth enrolled in (or interested in taking in the future) rabbit, poultry and goat projects are STRONGLY encouraged to attend this free clinic.
Cloverbud Science Saturday – March 28, 10-11 a.m.

Winner’s Circle Kick-Off – March 28, 1 p.m.
Winner’s Circle is a new Muskingum County 4-H program where individuals with developmental disabilities (ages 8-21) can show a livestock animal at the Muskingum County Fair. Participants will be mentored by current 4-H members who have received training, have experience showing livestock, and have a willingness to share their love of 4-H livestock projects. The Winner’s Circle Kick-Off will take place at the Veteran’s Building at the Fairgrounds. Youth who wish to enroll in the program should come to this event. Youth will meet current 4-H members and see LIVE animals! Youth will complete an interest survey to be assigned a mentor/animal. Lunch will be provided.
