We have TONS of updates this week – so buckle up, get a bag of popcorn, or settle in for the ride today…

  • Please make note – Morgan will be out of the office all next week (February 20-24) for a Conference in Nevada.   • THANK YOU again to all who attended the 4-H Open House this week. It was SUCH a fun event and we look forward to having it again in the future, see the previous post for fun pictures!
  • Our 2023 Henry County Handbooks are DONE! – guys, it was a labor of love – they look & feel a little different & I have made some videos to help you navigate changes to highlight! Keep in mind that we now have a LIVESTOCK handbook with Livestock-specific information. Handbooks will be printed next week & you’ll hear from Emily when those are available to be picked up!
  • There’s an App for that! – Our BIG announcement we shared at our 4-H Open House this week is that Henry County 4-H now has an app where all information can be shared & accessed! This is HUGE for our 4-H families!

  • Henry County 4-H Camp & Cloverbud Camp Themes were released at the 4-H Open House too!
    • Check them out on the CAMPS Page.
    • Our new “Campership” program was also released at the 4-H Open House!
      • Thanks to 4-H Endowment & 4-H Advisory Council, a total of FIVE FULLY-PAID Camperships will be awarded to 4-H members that have applied!

  • Volunteers – If you HAVE NOT registered IN 4-HOnline, PLEASE DO SO NOW! Your BCI results are reported & connected to your 4-HOnline Volunteer account. It is imperitive you have re-enrolled for this year!
    • If you are a Henry County 4-H Volunteer & have NOT completed your REQUIRED ANNUAL Volunteer Training, please contact Morgan ASAP at: parcher.6@osu.edu
  • A reminder that our 2023 Essay Lamb Applications are live and being accepted!
    • Deadline to turn in the application is MARCH 1, 2023!

Our first-ever 4-H Open House was a HUGE success!

Emily & I were so thrilled to have more than 40 new families come to our event to learn about Henry County 4-H! Thank you to all of our 4-H advisors that helped to promote the event. We’re marking this as a great success and plan to keep it on the books for the future!

Thanks so much to our 127 members that registered & attended Thursday’s QA Training! 78 of those members were Henry County 4-H’ers which is awesome! Be sure to note the future QA Dates and clinics on the Quality Assurance page
