- State Fair Delegates will need to contact the Extension Office to let us know if you plan on going to the Ohio State Fair – you will need to make arrangements to pick up your packets in order to attend. Tickets are limited and will be first come – first served.
- The Ohio State Fairgrounds is under heavy construction and there will be NO parking passes available (just managing expectations).
- Morgan will be back in the office tomorrow at 8:30a for you to begin picking packets up! (I’m judging in Kenton, OH today)
- Members may view project-specific information for the Ohio State Fair at: https://ohio4h.org/nonlivestockguidebook

Project Judging REMINDERS!
It’s that time of the year 4-H Families!
Next week shows off all the hard work you’ve put into your project so far this year! I have a few reminders to help you put those finishing touches on this weekend!
LIVESTOCK SKILLATHONS=
- PARENTS & VOLUNTEERS – We are STILL SEEKING HELP running Tuesday posters for skillathon. Even if you can help for just a few hours – it goes a long way. Please sign up using this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F44AFA922A4F4C25-48393360-livestock#/
- EXHIBITORS – Be sure to dress in your show clothes! If you aren’t sure what that may look like, check out the Livestock Handbook and it will include the “dress code” in your Jr Fair Rules.
- Be sure to review the rubrics (Grading Sheets) so you can study over the weekend!
- Find them here: https://u.osu.edu/henry4h/project-judging-skillathons/
STILL-PROJECT JUDGING=
- Be sure to dress in “nice clothes” – if you’re not sure what those are – think church clothes.
- If you need to confirm what you should bring to judging, be sure to review the Still-Project Handbook for more information.
- You can review the judging rubrics you will be graded on ahead of time!
- Find them here: https://u.osu.edu/henry4h/resources/still-project-resources/
- Dog Projects, visit: https://u.osu.edu/henry4h/resources/dog-resources/
If you are unable to attend judging, please email me so we can make appropriate arrangements. Emily & myself will not be in the office Monday thru Thursday as we are conducting judging. Email is your best route of communication!
All skillathon kits will be at the fairgrounds on Monday, so they will not be available to review on Monday.
This is the home stretch! You can do it! Be yourself and show off all your hard work! You’ve got this!
