I spent the day in Columbus attending ChickQuest training! What’s ChickQuest you may ask? This program is sponsored by the Ohio Soybean Council – it is a classroom journey through the life cycle of chickens.
I’m excited to bring home curriculum & equipment to potentially offer this program to area schools! With this program, 3rd grade classrooms are able to fulfill their lifecycle education standard in a fun, interactive way.
Students will gather data, may observations, perform experiments on eggs and actually [hopefully] hatch an egg within their classroom. This would be a unique opportunity to bridge 4-H with classroom learning! Check out some fun things we saw at our training today!
