Interested in learning to make yeast breads but not sure where to start? Bake along at home and complete with the Yeast Breads on the Rise project with 4-H Volunteer Joy Bauman. Register at go.osu.edu/yeastbreads and join Joy for six sessions of baking via Zoom. This SPIN Club is open to both 4-H members and non-members.
You will need to download the free Yeast Breads on the Rise project book at Perfect Stay-at-Home Projects | Ohio 4-H Youth Development. You will be responsible for purchasing ingredients for each week’s recipe and should have basic utensils needed to bake bread. Once registered you will receive an email with more detailed instructions. If you have questions, please contact Joy at bauman.67@osu.edu or Kristy at watters.92@osu.edu.
Parents/guardians are responsible for maintaining care, custody, and control of their minor(s) and are responsible for monitoring the activities their child is participating in. If you have a disability and have questions about accessibility or wish to request accommodations, please contact Kristy Watters at watters.92@osu.edu.
This is an awesome idea! Can kids outside of Adams County participate?
Yes! We have opened it up across the state.
This may be a way of the future to help kids when advisors do not have expertise is an area. Sounds interesting.
