Junior Fair Board

Adams County Junior Fair Board is an amazing opportunity for students around the county. JFB is a group of students from Adams County that come together to help put on and run the Adams County Junior Fair. Board member help decide junior fair rules, assists in preparing the fair grounds, run livestock shows, and so much more. Although it is a lot of work, serving on the board is also a lot of fun. We play team building games, eat snacks, and go on social outings. Serving on the JFB allows members to meet other 4h’ers and showmen from around the county which they may have never met if it weren’t for JFB. Some life long friends have been made while serving on the board!

The Adams County Extension Office is currently taking applications for new Junior Fair Board members. Applications are due September 1, 2023. You must be a freshman and not be aged out of 4h to apply. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!
