New Fair Manager to be Announced at Legacy Dinner Event

For the first time in 20 plus years, the Fairfield County Fair will have a new manager beginning next year. While we all know the Fairfield County Fair is known as the last and the best fair in Ohio, we don’t often realize our Fairgrounds is a hub for many weekend shows, festivals, reunions and a variety of other activities. With long time Fair Manager Dave Benson having announced his retirement, the Agricultural Society’s Board of Directors has been on a search for a new manager in recent months.

Now, the search is over and the Directors will announce their selection for new Fair Manager at the 2016 4-H Endowment’s Legacy Dinner and Auction. As you know, this annual event is being held this year on June 9 at the home of Doug and Cheryl Majors, 750 Ginder Road, Lancaster. Be sure to join us at 6:30 p.m. during during the wine and cheese tasting portion of the evening that immediately precedes Dinner for this announcement of the new Fairfield County Fair Manager.

Tickets for the dinner are $40.  You will enjoy a great dinner featuring beef, pork and lamb and much more!!  With the addition of the Fair Manager announcement to the festivities you will have the opportunity to not only meet the newest addition to the leadership of the Fair, but also spend some time with the Ag Society’s Directors while also helping to “Leave a Legacy” with the Fairfield County 4-H Endowment.
