2016 4-H Program and Jr. Fair Updates – this is a PDF copy of the PowerPoint presentation that 4-H Educator Doug Foxx gave during last week’s Required Advisor / Volunteer Trainings.  This lists out some of the major changes for this year and updates from the various livestock committees, camp dates, and more!

2016 Ohio 4-H Conference offers dozens and dozens of great sessions.  Listed below are just a few of the many breakout sessions to choose from.  There are also two really great luncheons to attend – one for volunteers and one for 4-H teens.  Don’t delay – register today.  Registration forms and payment are due to the county Extension Office February 12th.

2016 4-H Activity Fee Information

Letter to all 4-H Families (mailed out January 20, 2016).

Activity Fee Scholarship Application Form (to be turned in to Extension Office) – Due March 15, 2016.

Activity Fee & Club Dues Payment Form (to be filled out by each family and turned into club advisor with enrollment forms).

Several important 4-H reminder and upcoming events are listed below.  Please click the headlines below for more information.

Register Online Now for upcoming Required Advisor/Volunteer Trainings.  All returning 2016 4-H Advisors, Committee Members, and Volunteers are required to attend one of these events.  It only takes about 30 seconds to register online.  Otherwise, please call the Extension office to make a reservation.  Please note – registration for each date will close two days prior to the event.  View Breakout Session Descriptions and more information about these events on our website at wayne.osu.edu.  New Advisors / Volunteers are welcome to attend – but will also be required to attend one of the New Volunteer Training meetings in April or May.

4-H E-Mail Update: February 11, 2015

Dear 4-H Members, Parents, and Advisors,

Several important 4-H reminders and upcoming events are listed below.  Please click the headlines below for more information.

Only 3 Required 4-H Advisor / Volunteer Trainings left – February 11th, 12th, and 19th – Please select a breakout session and Call the Extension Office or e-mail Abbigail Robinson to register.

Join us for the Wayne County 4-H Project Fair on March 21st 9am – 12 noon at Fisher Auditorium! Organizational Advisors – please complete and return the Project Fair Survey to Marie Marty with Country Acres 4-H Club.

Dairy Committee is hosting a bus trip for Dairy Youth and Families to Dairy Palooza on May 2nd – Registrations due March 5th

Wayne County 4-H General Livestock Judging Team is getting organized – first practice is tomorrow, Thursday February 12th starting at 6:30 pm at Certified Angus Beef corporate office in Wooster.

2015 Ohio 4-H Conference Registrations Due this Friday, February 13th – check out all of the great sessions that will be offered at this event on Saturday March 14th.

Wayne County 4-H Equine Education Teams are now organizing – first practice will be February 17th.

Annual 4-H Club Treasury Reports – were Due January 31st.  This is a state and national 4-H requirement.  Your club will not be permitted to operate in 2015 if this form is not turned in.  IRS 990 E-Post Cards are due May 15th.

Organizational Advisors – we still need to hear from 23 clubs about how many enrollment forms, family guides, etc. that you will need for this year.  Club packets will be distributed at the February Training meetings.  Please call the Extension Office ASAP with this information if you have not already done so.

Annual 4-H Club Financial Reports – Due January 31st  This is a state and national 4-H requirement.  Your club will not be permitted to operate in 2015 if this form is not turned in.  IRS 990 E-Post Cards are due May 15th.
