Recently the Fairfield County Cattlemen’s Board of Directors met and made plans for a variety of upcoming activities they invite you to mark on your calendar and enjoy getting involved with:
Ohio State Fair Steak Barn and Food Pavilion: The Ohio State Fair is only two weeks away and there’s still time to be thinking about promoting your industry there. In fact, would you like to enjoy a day at the state fair and promote beef at the same time?
There’s no better way to promote the beef cattle industry than by helping out with a shift at the Ohio Cattlemen’s Steak Trailer or the Taste of Ohio/Food Pavilion? The shifts are half a day and require 6-8 people. While it may be a lot of work, it’s also a lot of fun! Better yet, it’s always quite an enlightening experience meeting face to face with your consumer.
In addition to getting a free ticket into the Fair and also a free meal, all volunteer groups will receive a 1-day Gate 10 parking pass that gets you parked on the grounds close to the both the Steak Trailer and Food Pavilion.
