Chili Cook-off Successful, New Champion Named!

The second Championship of the County, Chili Cook-off with Beef proved once again to be a huge success with 17 entries arriving to be judged at the AGmazing Agri-Center on October 13 at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds. This year’s Grand Champion Chili was exhibited by Amelia Miller of Sugar Grove. Entitled Smokin’ Chili Soup, it featured hamburger from her family’s home raised grass fed beef.

With the Fair only a few days away this is a great opportunity to do a brief preview of all the beef related activities fair goers can enjoy throughout the week.
