On Saturday, March 26th, more than 80 local Fairfield County cattlemen enjoyed their 28th annual Banquet. The fellowship enjoyed the FCCA’s famous Steak Fajitas along with all of the complementary sides, plus several “Mexico” inspired desserts. Those in attendance celebrated the promotion of Beef, and the the Beef industry, and our Youth’ participation in the industry. Thank you to all that came and everyone who helped!
Jay and Lois Picklesimer were presented the President’s Award for their years of service to the beef cattle industry.
Several youth attended and were recognized for their participation in the industry.
Kelsey Decker received one of four college scholarships awarded to local youth during the banquet. Other recipients were Desirae Logsdon, Sierra Jepsen and Evan Smith.
Treasurer Braden Moore offered the treasurer’s report.
Fairfield County native and current Director of Communications with the Ohio Pork Producer’s Council Quinton Keeran discussed promoting our industry via social media.
Stan and Connie Smith were presented the FCCA Distinguished Service Award.
