Performance Test 1 for the AEV is making the cart successfully go to the stop sign, stop for 7 seconds, and go past the stop sign. During this Performance Test, the group focused on two different final designs of the AEV. Both designs were tested with the same code to determine which design is the most efficient with using the least amount of energy. During this trial was when Group Q learned that the tracks in the two different rooms were different and the code had to be changed for each room. Luckily for this team, the code only needed to change a little while other teams had major changes to their code. Also when doing this test, Group Q learned that going to far when trying to stop at the stop sign can make the sensors not open the gate for the AEV to go through. After sucessfully completing this test, the group moved onto Performance Test 2.
