Performance Test 2

The second performance test focused on the code used to efficiently complete a run on the track. The AEV design from Performance Test 1 was used throughout this test with two different codes. After successfully reaching the gate, braking and then proceeding after the gate opened, the results from each run were analyzed on the computer. The energy consumed during the runs from each code was compared to determine which code was more efficient.

The second performance test that the team ran was also successful, the AEV connected to the caboose at the end of the course with zero recoil when attaching. This is where the team changed the code to use the goToRelativePosition method. This method made the code more efficient and the AEV was consistent both on the classroom and lab tracks.
