Topics Discussed

  • Testing different base sizes (Maxim)
  • Adjust amount of propellors (Maxim)
  • Replacing propellors with motors (Trent)
  • Use both electric motors (Anthony)
  • Use two wheels in design (Joseph)
  • Adjust shape of base (Trent)

All discussion was early brainstorming for the AEV project in order to have some ideas of what to change in our future designs.

Task Assignments

  • Anthony – Note-taker (meeting notes)
  • Joseph – Webmaster (website update)
  • Trent – Group schedule planner
  • Maxim – Keeps group on task and is in charge of reminders

NOTE: These group roles are subject to change.

 

Approach:

Division I’s approach to this project is to work in small parts primarily and have each member’s role(s) reflect their strengths. Over time, using this approach, the AEV project will be completed and expectations will be exceeded. Using this approach will prevent the group from getting overwhelmed from the massive amount of work that this project requires and allows for the project to continue at a steady pace all the while giving the group a sense of accomplishment for each component of the project that is completed.

  • Dividing up the work for the Progress Report and Website
  • Summary of each Exercise

Task Assignments

  • Anthony – work on Progress Report. Progress Report Appendix
  • Joseph – work on Progress Report. Create Concept Scoring Matrix
  • Trent – work on Progress Report, update Reflectance Sensor webpage, upload group sketch.
  • Maxim – work on Progress Report, Meeting notes.
