OSU Extension – Brown County is hiring! We are hiring for a Program Assistant (PA) to work as part of the overall Extension team with responsibilities in the areas of 4-H, Agriculture, and Natural Resources, and Community Development. The selected candidate will be responsible for office coverage on Fridays and other days as needed. The standard hours will be 32 hours a week with the potential for additional hours occasionally based on programming needs. Some nights and weekends will be required.

The position will include teaching selected programs in the designated areas, providing support to plan, coordinate, and promote events to meet the needs of county residents. The PA will be responsible for assisting in maintaining files, and data entry. Additionally, they should be familiar with Microsoft Office programs, and able to learn other programs as needed.

The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, teaching skills or experience, computer skills, be a team player, and can work with minimal supervision. They should also be willing to work flexible and extended hours on an as-needed basis.

State St., Bldg. B, Georgetown, OH 45121. The position will include some travel throughout the county and to professional development opportunities across the state.
