With Linden, Ohio being close to Columbus, which is home to many great universities and businesses, efficient and reliable public transport is necessary for the growth of these significant institutions. Residents and commuters at this point in time need better public transport than at any prior time in history.
Team B of Bevis Device Co. has spent the prior semester developing an Advanced Energy Vehicle (AEV) that makes no sacrifices in prioritizing safety, speed, and energy efficiency. We have also done extensive research on material cost in regards to saving the city of Linden as much money as possible.
Our AEV is made out of standard kit parts which saves a lot of the costs of 3D printing, and these standard parts are easier to replace. We also didn’t use a servo motor to brake the AEV which lead to a smoother stop for passengers. In regards to testing our AEV, it scored 96.25% rating, which included a 100% perfect rating on one of the test runs.
We believe that our can offer AEV a safe, cost efficient, and comfortable experience to be used by the residents of Linden for many decades to come.
