Concept Screening and Scoring

Concept screening and scoring is used to determine the optimal design to run the performance tests. Screening allows users to get an idea of the pros and cons of each design, whereas scoring allows the users to measure the importance of each part of the design and compare how well each design is compared to the others. In the concept screening and scoring lab, each member collaboratively assessed each individual design made by the other team members. A group decision was made in the concept screening that Nick’s design had the most pros and least cons, so it would be better to create for future labs. Ethan’s design also had several pros, so the group decided to try and implement some of his ideas. The concept scoring had the same results and showed Nick’s idea would be best with some ideas from Ethan’s design. The concept screening and scoring can be seen below.
