Decisions based on the Screening and Scoring Spreadsheets:
The team decided that the factors that were important to the design of the AEV were weight, energy, cost, number of motors, and safety. Using these factors and the decided upon weights of importance for each factor, the designs of Maggie, Makayla, and Garrett were used to continue in the scoring matrix. Using the information in the scoring matrix, it was decided that Makayla’s design would be used if the team got the grant proposal and that if the team did not get the grant proposal, Maggie’s design would be used.
