The Fairfield County 4-H Youth Development program strives to teach leadership, citizenship and life skills to the 1342 4-H club members who have enrolled in 3197 projects this year. While most young people are participating in traditional 4-H club experiences, children who are not yet 4-H age can participate in a non-competing, activity based curriculum known as the Cloverbud program. Beyond that, nearly 800 additional youth are exposed to 4-H work through school enrichment programs.
