How many times have you walked by the bell tower on the Oval? It is the home of Earth Sciences at OSU.
Stop and take a really good look. Walk around the outside and view the gargoyles. They are all different. Then, take a look at the rest of the building. It was created out of native stone in geological order.
In the atrium, is Cryolophosaurus ellioti (the 1st dinosaur found in Antarctica) . Accessible from here is the Orton Geological Museum and the Orton Memorial Library.
Take the virtual tour and then drop by for a visit!
Hello, I met you today in the Map Room. I’m really interested in maps and am happy that you were willing to give me the link to your blog. Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it and will be stopping by the map room every now and then, now that I know about it.
This post especially has motivated me to explore campus more.
