Dr. Jon Ramsey is a Professor in the School of Veterinary Medicine Department of Molecular Biosciences at the University of California, Davis. He is also the Core Leader of the UC Davis Mouse Metabolic Phenotyping Center Energy Balance, Exercise and Behavior Core. Dr. Ramsey’s research focuses on the roles nutrition and energy metabolism play in aging. The goal of this research is to understand the biochemical mechanisms contributing to aging, and develop dietary intervention to promote healthy aging.
