Vanessa attends the American Society for Microbiology Microbe meeting June 20-24 in San Francisco!

Morgan recently completed her PhD studying microbial transformations in hydraulic fracturing operations at The Ohio State University. She now joins us as a postdoctoral researcher jointly appointed through the College of Public Health in collaboration with labs of Drs. Jiyoung Lee and Barbara Piperata. Morgan will be examining gut metagenomes in relation to health. Welcome Morgan!

David presented on chronic wasting disease and the gut microbiome of white-tailed deer at the monthly Applied Field Epidemiology Program Meeting at Ohio State University on June 12, 2019.

The Hale lab hosted a QIIME2 workshop June 3-4, 2019. We spent 2 days learning how to analyze microbial community data. Now we’re ready to take on the (microbial) world!
