This is just a reminder that reservations are requested by today for OCA’s annual Roundup that will be taking place August 28 & 29, 2015 in Mercer County. On Friday night, the event will feature Representative Tony Burkley from the 82nd District of the Ohio House of Representatives speaking on water quality issues, and Colin Woodall from the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association giving a legislative update.
On Saturday, Terry Mescher, Conservation Engineer with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources; Abbey Tobe, Grand Lake/Wabash Watershed Coordinator and Milt Miller, Manager of the Grand Lake St. Marys Restoration, will all be on hand to discuss water quality issues. Travis Spicer of Mercer County Landmark will be presenting on growth in the cattle feeding industry in Mercer County.
