The 2022 Cow Calf Workshop will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 9:00am-2:30pm at Scott Farms (9681 U.S. 68, Georgetown, OH 45121). This workshop provides the opportunity to receive hands-on experience along with great information from a number of different people. Topics and speakers include: Optimizing Forage Fertility– James Morris, OSU Extension Brown County; Feed Sampling and Nutrient Analysis– Ted, Wiseman, OSU Extension Perry County; Feedstuff Evaluation and Processing– Erik Scott, Scott Farms; Planning Cow Management and Feeding Mineral– Garth Ruff, OSUE Beef Cattle Field Specialist; Body Condition Scoring and Facilities– Stan Smith, OSU Extension Fairfield County. There is a $10 fee that covers lunch that day and the materials that you will need during the workshop. In order to attend participants need to PRE-REGISTER BY FEBRUARY 17, 2022.
