Ractopamine Affidavit Due September 8

Again this year, we will be using electronic ractopamine affidavits for all swine projects. Please fill out the electronic affidavit before Wednesday, September 8th at 5:00pm. You will receive a confirmation email after it is submitted. You will not be permitted to unload your swine project until the form is completed. Click here to access the online affidavit.

DUNF Forms Due September 8

Again this year, all Drug Use Notification Forms (DUNF) will be completed electronically.  Please fill out the electronic DUNF before Wednesday, September 8th at 5:00pm. You will receive a confirmation email with the details of your DUNF after it is submitted. If any information on the DUNF form changes between the time the form was submitted and fair check-in, the committee will ask you to complete a new DUNF at check-in. If nothing has changed you may proceed to the next step in the check-in line. Please use your entire animal ID/scrapie ID.  DUNF forms are required by the Ohio Department of Agriculture for all market animals, lactating dairy cows, and lactating dairy goats.  Click here to access the electronic DUNF.

Wayne County Junior Fair Statement about Quarantine and COVID Symptoms

If a Jr. Fair Exhibitor is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 and/or under a quarantine order from their primary care physician or healthcare provider, they should stay home and find someone to care for their animal while it is at the fairgrounds to ensure the animal has feed, water, and clean bedding. The exhibitor should also arrange for another Jr. Fair exhibitor to show the animal and, if it is a market animal, stand in for the exhibitor during the livestock auction.
