Women in Sustainability

The Sustainability Institute at the Ohio State University would like to invite you to join the Sustainability Institute in celebrating the start of Earth Month and Time for Change Week with lunch and inspiring discussion at our annual event: Women in Sustainability. The event will take place on Friday, April 11th from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM at the new Energy Advancement and Innovation Center.

Women in Sustainability brings students and professionals together around the topic of uplifting women in sustainability careers. The 2-hour event begins with a networking lunch, followed by a panel of local women leaders and experts in the sustainability field. This event is open to all students and professionals interested in Ohio’s sustainability future and uplifting women in sustainability careers, regardless of background and identity.

This year, the Sustainability Institute has partnered with Rumpke and Ohio State Energy Partners to discuss circular economy efforts in Ohio, with a panel featuring:

Dominique Hadad – Founder and CEO of Green Scope Consulting
Becky Reichenbach – Corporate Recycling Manager with Rumpke Waste and Recycling
Lisa Goldsand – Founder of Circular Thrift LLC.

Lunch is provided, surface lot parking at the EAIC is free of charge and in-person space is limited for this event. Please RSVP by no later than April 4th at: go.osu.edu/wis25
