The Sustainability Institute at Ohio State is pleased to invite you to an Earth Month event focused on women in sustainability and an opportunity to engage with student leaders. Maggie Hirt, a recent alumna, is leading this year’s Women in Sustainability Virtual Event with support from the Sustainability Institute. We would like to invite you to join us as an attendee on Friday, April 9th, 12-1:30p.m. EST. The event will consist of a panel discussion followed by an opportunity for conversation and networking among participants in breakout rooms.

This year’s program features the following panelists:

Laurie Stevenson, Director, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency

Crystal Davis, Vice President of Policy & Strategic Engagement, Alliance for the Great Lakes

Lauren Koch, Sustainability Consultant, Ohio State Wexner Medical Center

Similar to last year’s program, we aim to celebrate women in fields of sustainability and environmental work, to give students and professionals an opportunity to hear from leaders in these fields, and to create connections and spark meaningful discussions between students and professionals. It is extremely valuable to have seasoned sustainability professionals like you at this event, and we hope you can join us!

Please feel free to reach out to Jaquet.6@osu.edu with any questions you may have.
