The connectedness of everything

You might find that an undergraduate education in Physics seems dated: the important ideas all come from the period roughly 1600 – 1940.  Sometimes it is hard to see the big picture, what the major unsolved problems are, and how these are all connected.

That’s why I was really impressed with this interactive graphic from Quanta Magazine.  It’s a map of various fields of physics, their top unsolved questions, and how these are connected to one another.  There are lots of links to dozens of articles and videos where you can explore further.
