Reasoning: No reason really, the magnet will be on the front of the AEV design though, so the Arduino board will be as far from the magnet as possible.
Michael Nedved’s Design:
Reasoning: A sharper point and less flat spaces make the AEV more aerodynamic, I also added another space for 2 more motors if applicable for more speed and power.
Nick McLaughlin’s Design:
Reasoning: the front of the vehicle is meant to emulate the aerodynamic shape of a bullet train, this will minimize the force needed to make the AEV move. The base also has holes in it to allow for easier management of wires.
James Bott’s Design:
Reasoning: Applying the electric motors to the wheels on the track instead of propellers to increase efficiency and control.
