Motor Configuration

Purpose:

To understand how changing the orientation of the motors affects the distance the AEV can travel and how fast.

Procedure:
1. Upload code written for testing purposes.

2. Run the AEV on the track using the code and use the original configuration of the motors.

3. Record the distance and speed that the AEV traveled based on the analysis program.

4. Change the configuration of motors by offsetting one of the motors lower than the other.

5. Record the distance and speed that the AEV traveled based on the analysis program.

6. Change the configuration of motors by turning one motor around so both motors are in the same direction.

7. Record the distance and speed that the AEV traveled based on the analysis program.

Deliverable:

Provide tables that can be used for progress reports and in this web page to show the distances traveled and speed compared to the configuration of the motors.
