Performance Tests
The performance tests were broken into three parts. The first performance test consisted of having the AEV make it to the gate, trigger the sensor and proceed through the gate after it opened. The second performance test consisted of having the AEV go through the same motions as performance test 1 as well as hooking up to the caboose in the loading zone, pausing for 5 seconds and then pulling the caboose out of the loading zone. The final performance test consisted of the same motion as two plus making it back through the gate in the same way as performance test 1 and then stopping at the starting area with the caboose.
To get the data from the Arduino, MATLAB was used [3].
