Mission Concept Review

Background

In 2016 Columbus had received 50 million dollars in grant money to transform itself into the United States first Smart City. The city later collected  a total of 417 million dollars to help the cause which was scheduled to begin in 2017/2018. Smart Columbus has decided to first improve their cities transportation by coming up with several solutions to get transportation to the newly decided focus area of Linden. This is an area with a population estimated to be around 30,000 and currently has very little access to healthcare, grocery stores, banking and employment. [1]

Main Objective

The group is faced with the task of creating an Advanced Energy Vehicle which is able to transport people and deliver goods to Linden. [1] The challenges with this project is that the AEV has to finalized with being as efficient as possible, as safe as possible, but still have the capabilities of hauling heavy loads and moving over different landscapes.
