
All animals for which DUNFs are submitted must be “drug free” by the DUNF submission and must be completed by Saturday, July 20th prior to the animal weigh-in!
Per the Shelby County Junior Fair rules, a completed and approved Drug Use Notification From (DUNF) MUST be submitted for Junior Fair market beef (steers and heifers), market hogs, market lambs, veal calves, market dairy steers, market goats, market poultry (meat pens of chickens, meat pens of ducks, and turkeys), lactating dairy cattle, lactating dairy goats, market rabbits, and feeder calves. A separate from must be completed for EACH animal (except meat pens). Any animal for which there is not a completed DUNF on file will not be permitted to show or sell!

That is, if an animal has a medication listed on the DUNF for which the withdrawal requirement has not been achieved by weigh-in, then that animal will not be permitted to show or sell, and quarantine arrangements will be decided by the board!
