Ohio 4-H & FFA Hockey Night

Ohio 4-H and FFA Hockey Night

Ohio State is thrilled to be hosting our annual FFA Game again this season and this year the invitation is being extended to Ohio 4-H. We also are excited to announce a continued partnership with The Ohio State University, College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences to provide academic programming prior to the game.

Prior to the Buckeyes Hockey game versus Wisconsin, the program that afternoon will include time with the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences exploring topics related to the undergraduate majors offered by the college. Tickets will be $11 per person at the group rate!

College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) Programming (4-5 PM)

The CFAES programming will offer a unique opportunity for your group to visit CFAES and our facilities while learning about programs and resources within the college. Come experience a college that offers premier leadership, personal growth opportunities, and career success to all its students.

This year, CFAES will be offering the following tours and/or activities

  • Controlled Environment Agriculture Research Complex (CEARC) Tours: Experience our brand new CEARC facility in combination with programming from our Horticulture and Crop Science department. This will be a 50-minute session, with 30 minutes being the facilities tour and a 20-minute program with HCS staff.
  • CFAES Campus tour: Led by the CFAES student ambassadors, explore the CFAES campus in this 50-minute tour. See classrooms, labs, dining spaces, and more from the perspective of a current student (dress warm).
  • Academic Program Table Fair & CFAES Majors & Careers Game: Interact with our academic unit staff and student leaders to learn more about what majors and organizations CFAES has to offer and form a team to play a game to learn more about CFAES careers and win prizes in this 50-minute session.

Groups can register through our ONLINE REGISTRATION. When filling out the registration, you will be asked to rank your session preferences. Availability is limited and will be determined on a first come, first served basis. You will receive an email confirmation of your tour schedule, parking instructions, directions, and contact information for the day of your visit.
