What is it: Youth will gain experience working events at the Ohio State Fair, while gaining the opportunity to enhance leadership skills and involvement in the state 4-H program. Youth will receive a 4HEYA polo, 4HEYA nametag, State Fair admission/parking tickets for the days worked, State Fair meal ticket(s) for the days worked, and optional state fair housing in the Rhodes Center Dormitory.
Who: Individuals age 13-18 (as of January 1st of the year of application) and have at least 1 prior 4-H experience
When: Apply by May 15th, selection, training, service to OSF and evaluation (Responsibilities are completed by August 31st, 2025!)
Requirements:
- Must attend one of the options for training (July 10th or July 15th)- This is non-negotiable!
- Must work a minimum of 3 events of at the Ohio State Fair (may work more if desired)
- Pay $25 fee/person
