Ohio 4-H Foundation Board

Each year, the Ohio 4-H Foundation offers an opportunity for teens and young alumni to serve on the board. There are 2 spots available this year! The term length is 2 years long and runs January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2026. On the Ohio 4-H Foundation Board teens will get the chance to see how the board operates, gain speaking opportunities, and can provide an important youth voice in their position.

National 4-H Conference:

National 4-H Conference is specifically focused on civic engagement, civic education, and personal development. Delegates arrive ready to connect, learn, engage, lead, and impact their communities, their nation, and their world.

When: April 10-16, 2025 (Ohio delegates arrive a day early on April 10. Conference begins on April 11)

Who: Applicants must be 15-18 as of 1/1/2025 and currently enrolled as an Ohio 4-H member

Deadline: December 1st, 2024 at 11:59 PM, apply at 2025 National 4-H Conference Application!

Delaware County Extension Lambing & Kidding Clinic

Jacci Smith, Delaware County ANR Educator, will cover topics relating to the last trimester of gestation, birthing, and dystocia. Participants will practice with the hands-on lambing and kidding simulators.

When: December 4, 2024 from 6:30-8:30 PM

Where: Byxbe Campus- 1610 SR 521 Delaware, OH 43015

Details:  No fee- but pre-registration is needed! Pizza will be provided at the beginning of the program.
