Get ready for this year’s winter banquet!

We are so excited to make some announcements about this year’s Winter Banquet! Check out the Save the Date (thank you to Claire Burton for designing!) for Banquet, which will be Saturday February 15, 2020 (NOT 2019). In tying into the sesquicentennial, we will be celebrating Staters contributions to OSU over the years with some alums of various decades and University Personnel in attendance. A formal invitation will follow later this semester.

In addition, we are collecting 150-word submissions from alum and current members on their experience in Staters to be used during the event.  If you have any questions or want to contribute, please email your submission at desch.19@osu.edu by January 3, 2020.

Hope to see you there! 🙂

Time to Celebrate Spooky Season!

Join OSI in some of the season’s spookiest celebrations with Omens of the Oval, an event that will showcase the ghost stories and myths that surround Ohio State’s campus. Join us for tours with Stater guides sharing the haunts of OSU, trick-or-treating, and an insider’s peak into the Orton Bell Tower, a historic landmarker that Ohio Staters, Inc. has exclusive access to.

SCCDAP Saturdays

It’s football season, everybody!! That beautiful time of year for field goals, tailgating, and, most importantly, fundraising for the oldest service organization on campus! If you’re planning on being at the Shoe on any Saturday this 2019 season, swing by one of Ohio Staters, Inc. three booths–located north, east, and south of the stadium–to say hi and to check out this year’s array of fundraising wares. We’ve got every gameday covered with our seat cushions, ponchos, and handwarmers, and every dollar goes into the scholarships and projects we fund each year. We hope to see you there!

Stater Gear Season!

As a reminder, the link for purchasing this year’s round of Ohio Staters Inc. gear will only be live for five more days, the last day being Monday, September 30th. Get it while you can!

stater social: bowling edition

Thanks to everyone who joined for the most recent Stater Social event! We had a great time meeting prospective members, hanging with faculty, and sizing up the bowling talent. Between the strikes and gutter balls, we managed to get to know one another and learn more about what it means to be a Stater outside of the committee meetings and projects!

Student Leaders Summit

Join us on Thursday, September 5th from 5-8pm in the Ohio Union US Bank Conference Theater for the Student Leaders Summit! Attend this conference to improve you and your organization as you learn how to find external sources of funding, collaborate with other organizations, increase membership, and make seamless leadership transitions. In addition, there will be a raffle for two Penn State tickets at the 40 yard line, and there will be t-shirts for all participants. Hope to see you there!

Goodbye to our Seniors!

Benefit Concert at Kafe Keroauc

This spring semester, Ohio Staters collaborated with a number of talented students and musicians to put on a benefit show at Kafe Keroauc, the proceeds of which went to fund the Edward Beanie Drake scholarship. The bands were incredible and we are thankful for their help in putting together a wonderful night for a wonderful cause! Check out some of the images of our performers below!
