October Junior Leaders Meeting

Dear Junior Leaders,

Our next meeting will be on Monday October 6th from 7-9 pm at the Extension Office (Co. Administration Building 2nd Floor Meeting Room).   4-H members and friends of 4-H’ers 13-19 are welcome to attend – so please invite someone from your club or a friend from school.

Barry Jolliff will be leading some games and activities.  We will also have some yummy treats, elect officers, and do some brainstorming of activities we would like to do for the Fall and Winter!  There might even be some line dancing – so come prepared to have lots of fun.

Best wishes and hope to see you there!

Doug

Our 4-H Character Counts program teaches 1st through 4th graders throughout Wayne County elementary schools about the six pillars of character.  We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with teaching this program.  Volunteers are paid a small stipend and are given training and lessons to teach the program.  The program will run from November 2014 through April 2015 in select local elementary schools.  If you are interested in serving as a Character Counts teacher or know someone that may be interested – please contact 4-H Educator Doug Foxx.

PLEASE NOTE – we will be having a short meeting to go over the lessons for this year and schedule volunteers for specific schools and dates/times on October 21st at 10:00 a.m. at the Extension Office.
