In the end of Spring semester, we closed our international teaching and learning forum series with a presentation from Dr. Minru Li. It was a very fascinating presentation based on theoretical framework from Dr. Galal Walker, who emphasizes the ability to perform in the target language’s culture. Dr. Li also shows the success of this approach in its implementation in teaching Chinese as a foreign language at Ohio State and in teaching English as a foreign language in China.
