Every spring the Sigma Xi Annual Banquet & Research Symposium brings together our members for a collegial evening of interaction and celebration of the research accomplishments of our students. Students who win top awards at campus research events are invited and this event provides an excellent chance to meet interdisciplinary faculty and students from throughout the University.
On April 18th 2019, Sigma Xi members and new inductees will gather for the Annual Banquet and Research Symposium! There will be a cash bar and a keynote speech by Dr. Omowunmi (Wunmi) Sadik from the State University of New York. At this exciting event, awardees of the local and national Grants-in-Aid-of-Research program, Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum, and Denman Undergraduate Research Forum will be recognized, new Sigma Xi members will be inducted and research symposium poster presenters will be awarded.
